n recent years much has been made of the power of “Millennials” (AKA Generation Y), the generation of young people born between the early 1980s and 2000s. If a movement with such lofty goals as AYWW is going to succeed, it's going to take a generation that looks at the world in a fundamentally different way. That generation is the Millennials.
Phi Theta Kappa is an international honors society that recognizes excellence in the world's 2-year college students. Many of these bright young men and women, the cream of their generation's crop, will go on to remake our world according to their morals and ideals. These are the types of people that we need to create A Year Without War in 2020. That's why we are so pleased to announce our partnership with the Phi Theta Kappa two year Honor Society.
In their own words:
The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence.
